The Futora, (2025)

single channel video, colour, 13’05’’, DCP


The Futora blends documentary and fictional elements. Inspired by children’s science-fiction cinema, it follows an unidentified traveller, a collective presence formed through unconscious memories and dreams, moving through the dim glow of the night. The images drift with this presence between nocturnal towns and children’s dreams, traversing fractured geographies and temporalities. The project seeks to capture unfinished imaginaries of the future in fleeting, accidental moments: a spectral wandering refracted through the fragments and traces left in the wake of the dissolution of globalised romanticism.
